Already during my school days I discovered my interest in languages (both German and foreign languages) and intercultural experiences. Therefore, after the 10th grade with AFS Intercultural Encounters e.V., I spent a school year in the Czech Republic with a host family. There I learned the Czech language, which I have continuously improved since then.
After graduating from high school, I decided to study translation and then study interpreting with the foreign languages French and English. During my studies I spent a semester with the European Union’s Erasmus program at the interpreting and translating faculty of the Université de Mons in French-speaking Belgium.
While studying, I started working as a freelance conference interpreter and translator in mid-2011.
I have been living in Normandy (France) since August 2015.
Since 2013 I have been a member of the Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ) and since 2014 a member as a VKD candidate in the Association of Conference Interpreters in the BDÜ e. V. (VKD).
